Technology-related jobs have seen amazing growth in the past decade. Despite the economic slowdown, this growth is expected to continue, driven by business and industry's increased reliance on technology.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, jobs in technology will continue to grow at a faster rate than many other occupations over the next decade.

- Engineers (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing) - As automation and robotic systems become more common, the demand for design engineers will continue to grow.
- Computer Systems Analysts - Increasingly complex computer systems and networks make up the infrastructure of modern business. The demand for analysts who can design and implement these systems will remain high.
- Network and System Administrators - Administrators will be needed in greater numbers to maintain computer systems and networks.
- Computer Software Designers and Developers - Due to widespread use of computers, microprocessors and the Internet, the need for software is expanding. There is no sign of slowdown in the software engineering and programming job markets.
- Computer Support Specialists - The need for technical support for computer users who experience problems will grow significantly, resulting in a demand for more support specialists.
